Lillian Graves entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, September 4, 2019, in Northwest Medical Center, Springdale, Arkansas. Her earthly journey began on May 28, 1946, the daughter of the late Jane and Harrison Faulcon, of North Carolina.
At an early age, Lillian and her family relocated to the Williamsburg area. A loving and devoted mother, she loved cooking and decorating her home for the holidays. She also enjoyed making dolls and creating Easter baskets for the children. Her favorite pastime was watching the daytime stories. Her caring ways and beautiful smile will forever be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her sons, Gerrard and John Graves, sisters, Ella Mae Cherry, Lucille Bullock, Barbara Faulcon, and Sarah Faulcon, brothers, Harvey Faulcon, James Ellis Faulcon, and John Dallas Faulcon. Fond memories will forever remain with her sons, Olanzo Graves, Bobby Graves, and Seneca Lassiter; grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
A service to celebrate her life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 14, 2019, at St. John Baptist Church, Williamsburg, with Minister Carlon Lassiter officiating. Interment to follow in the church cemetery. Family and friends to assemble at the church by 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. Mrs. Graves may be viewed Saturday beginning at 10:00 a.m. until the hour of her service.
