On Sunday, December 22, 2019, Lonnie James Beverley answered the call to eternal rest in MCV-VCU Medical Center Main Hospital, Richmond, Virginia. His earthly journey began on November 8, 1973, the son of George and the late Deborah Beverley.

He attended Lafayette High School and worked as Head Chef at the Duke of York restaurant for over fifteen years.

He is survived by his sons, Damon Jones, Raekwon Jones, and Cameron Jones; sister, Danielle Compton; brother, Joshua Beverly; best friend, Cole Crockett; and a host of other relatives and friends.
