Pamela Michelle (Hopson) Earley

Pamela Michelle Hopson Earley, 49, suddenly graduated from this earthly world to her heavenly home on July 3, 2019.  She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Clarence Rainey and Patricia Hopson.

She was a graduate of Christopher Newport University and an employee of the York County School Division where she taught at Tabb Elementary School. She was a member of Cary's Baptist Church, Yorktown, VA.

She is survived by her husband, Navy Chief Warrant Officer 3 Maurice Tyrone Earley, Sr.; children, Maurice Tyrone Earley, Jr. and Camden Reese Colin Earley; mother-in-law, Lendora Earley, of Rocky Mount, NC; brothers, Darren “Chico” Hopson (Stephanie), of Newport News and Thomas “Wayne” Rainey, of Hampton; sisters, Karen “Sissy” Hopson, of Newport News, Lori A. Hopson, of York County, and Valerie A. Rainey, of Newport News; special moms, Margaret Tynes and Carolyn England; aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of nieces and nephews. 

A Celebration of Pam's life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 9, 2019, in Cary's Baptist Church, 1615 Carys Chapel Road, Yorktown, VA.  Interment to follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the church on Monday, July 8 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
