Alonzo R. Dandridge

Alonzo R. Dandridge, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather was summoned from his earthly toil to eternal rest on December 26, 2023, at his home in Apollo Beach, FL.
 
Alonzo was born on March 2, 1954, to the late Frank E. and Laura E. Dandridge.  
 
In 1974, he married the love of his life, Alberta Frazier. Together, they have two children; a daughter, Sherrell Ongaro, and a son, Brian Dandridge. 
 
Alonzo is predeceased by his parents, Frank and Laura Dandridge, and brother Neil Rutley. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Alberta Dandridge; daughter Sherrell (Emmanuel); son Brian (Norrissa); and nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.  He also leaves to cherish his memories six siblings, Frank (Deborah), Jackie Randall (James), Arlette, Nolan (Rhonda), Bernard (Penny), and Kennard (Sheila); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. 
 
A memorial celebration of Alonzo’s life will be held on January 13, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Crosswalk Church, 7575 Richmond Road, Williamsburg, VA 23188
