Antoinette Olivia Allen, affectionately known as “Tutz,” peacefully departed this life on December 20, 2025. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend whose gentle spirit touched all who knew her.
Toni was preceded in death by her cherished husband, Mike Allen; her parents, James and Peggy; her brother, Pete; her adoptive parents, Bernard and Elva; and her beloved sister-in-law, Charlotte Allen.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories her devoted daughter, Micheala (Craig); son, Bernard; grandchildren, Catera and CJ; great-grandchildren, Kingston and Kapri; loving sisters, Carole, Mia, Christy, and Tina; in-laws, Bill and Kay Allen; and her brothers-in-law, Rennie (Charlotte), Laney (Ravon), Jeff (Phyllis), and Bert (Sharon); and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Toni loved the Lord and faithfully served Him. After moving to Charles City, she became a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church, where she continued to grow in faith and fellowship. She possessed a sweet, kind, and loving spirit that filled any room she entered—one that could be felt instantly by all who were blessed to be in her presence.
Creativity was one of Toni’s greatest joys. She was very artistic and found happiness in drawing, knitting, and crocheting. She was also an avid lover of music, which brought her peace and joy throughout her life.
Toni will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
A funeral service will be held at Noon on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at Cedar Grove Baptist Church, with a viewing beginning at 11:00 a.m.
Professional services have been entrusted to the staff of Whiting’s Funeral Home, 7005 Pocahontas Trail, Williamsburg, Virginia 23185. 757-229-3011 whitingsfuneralhome.com
