Ashley Alyssa Cerasole was born on February 17, 1991, in Norwich, Connecticut. On Friday, January 22, 2021, the Lord saw fit to reveal to us that she was home in heaven with her Lord and Savior Jesus.
She enjoyed her early years in Connecticut before relocating to Virginia with her family in 2002. In 2005, the family made Williamsburg their home. She was educated in the Williamsburg-James City County Public School system, graduating from Jamestown High School in 2010. She also received a Veterinary Certificate from New Horizons.
Ashley was an accomplished musician who wrote more than 100 songs. She was also an accomplished poet whose poem “Shyness” was published in the "Celebrate! Young Poets Speak Out -- East -- Fall 2007" anthology.
Ashley’s favorite pastime was crocheting and jewelry making. She had a very special gift for working with animals. She touched many hearts with her music and her loving and kind personality.
Her memories will forever remain in the hearts of her mother, Michelle Rocheleau and step-father, David Rocheleau who she called her dad; grandparents, Suzanne Berthier, Joseph and Diannah Cerasole, Mike Rocheleau, and Kathy McFarland; aunts, Colette Curtis, Rachel Rocheleau, Marcia Turner, and Leanna Rocheleau; cousins, Crystal and Katie, who she grew up with; and a host of other relative and friends who loved her dearly.
