Brandan Earl Fowler, a native of Williamsburg, VA transitioned from this life on Sunday, April 11, 2021.
Brandan was employed by Byrd’s Restaurant in Newport News. He truly loved his job and all of his wonderful coworkers. To all his coworker at Byrd’s restaurant, Brandan adored each and every one of you. It was a joy for him coming to work every day. Jason Snyder, he enjoyed working alongside you.
Brandan spent his early years playing football, baseball, and his first love basketball. He was one heck of a three-point shooter. He also loved fishing, watching sports, and listening to music. Brandan also loved cooking and eating. His last meal was his favorite Mr. Boil.
He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandparents, Earl and Bessie Henderson; grandparents, Moses and Carletha Morris; and paternal grandparents, Winfey and Minnie Fowler.
Brandan leaves to cherish his memories, his beautiful daughter, Mia- Capri; loving parents, Richard and Evelyn Mason and Terry and Robin Fowler; brothers, Bryce Mason, Kelvin Fowler, and Caleb Fowler; grandparents, Richard and Caroline Mason; the love of his life, Shauntae Elizabeth Cook; aunts, Earlyne Thompson (Heywood), Rachel Foster, Jolisa Mathis (Gratham), Renee’ Thompson, Geraldine Daniel (Robert), Karen Mason, Kathy Mason, Rosalyn Mason, Carolyn Hairston, and Maria Craighead; special cousins, John H. Foster III, Zoe’ Mason, and Hannah Mathis; and a host of other loving and caring relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 17, 2021, at Whiting’s Funeral Home. Due to the current health pandemic, only 50 people may be in attendance with facial coverings and social distancing requirements. Livestream will be available at the start of the service. A walk-thru viewing will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, in the funeral home.
