Carlos Dewond Lee

Carlos Dewond Lee was born on July 16, 1979, to Sharon Lee and the late William “Bill” Crew Jr. He transitioned from this life and world on March 20, 2023, at Rose Medical Hospital, in Denver Colorado.

Carlos graduated from Lafayette High School in 1998 and Central Trading School in 2008. He worked for various companies, including Nike, 24-7 InTouch On-line Coordinator, and lastly at the New York Times. Carlos loved video gaming.

He leaves to cherish his fond memories with his mother and stepfather, Sharon L. and Joseph Braxton; grandparents, John A. and Levonia Lee; uncle, Kevin Lee; special devoted friends, Marty Crew, Herman Byrd, Corey Wright, and Jay McNair; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and caring friends.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m.  Saturday, April 15, 2023, at Whiting's Funeral Home.  Livestream will be available at the beginning of the service. Mr. Lee may be viewed in the funeral home on Saturday beginning at 12:00 p.m. Facial coverings are required.
