Carlyle Maurice Randall

Carlyle Maurice "Erskine" Randall, of Lanexa, Virginia, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at his home in Angeles City, Philippines. 

Carlyle's dedication to his country was unwavering, as he served in the Air Force, retiring after twenty years of honorable service. His duty took him to various corners of the world, including Thailand, Greenland, and Japan.

Carlyle, a cherished father, brother, uncle, and friend was the fourth of nine children born to the late James and Lucy Bernice Randall. Carlyle is also preceded in death by his siblings, Barbara Wright, Diane Jones (Willie), and James E. Randall.

Carlyle will forever be loved and remembered by his three daughters, Stacee Randall of New York, NY, Shavonne Kearse (Donald) of Columbia, SC, and Meeya Randall of Williamsburg, VA; siblings, Michael Randall (Sharon), Victor Randall (ShaVonnie), Valarie Kelly (Benjamin), Yvette Randall, and L’Tanya Taliaferro (Jeffrey); two aunts, Mary Talley and Alease Bowles; along with eighteen nieces and nephews. These cherished family members will forever hold in their hearts the beautiful memories created with Carlyle.

A memorial service to celebrate Carlyle’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 21, 2023, at Mt Nebo Baptist Church, 5800 Mt Nebo Rd, Barhamsville, VA 23011. Full Military Honors will be rendered.  A repast will be held immediately following the services.
