Christina Donye Travers

Christina Donye Travers, also affectionately known as “Chris” or “Tina Bina” or “Steen (Steen Bean),” was born on February 27, 1985, in Williamsburg, VA, to Valerie Travers and Carlton Pratt. She moved to her Heavenly home on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, in Ellenwood, GA, at the tender age of 40. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Charles and Otelia Travers; aunt Pam Travers Jones; and uncle Frederick Travers.
She leaves to cherish her living out loud, precious memories, her wife of ten years, Latisha Travers; mother and father, Valerie and Forest Jones of Toano, VA; brother Terrance Morris of Newport News, VA; four children, Jayden Rodgers, Jasmine Williams, Niyah Williams, and Nicholas Nutall; four grandchildren, Antioine, III "Lil Man", Carlos, Jr. "CJ", Jayden "Baby Jayden", and Amaya; fur-baby, Millie Travers; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

A "Living Out Loud" celebration of her life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 31, 2025, at Bethel Restoration Center, with a viewing beginning at 9:00 a.m.  Interment will follow in Williamsburg Memorial Park.  The family will be receiving friends after the interment at Williamsburg Christian Academy, 101 School House Lane, Williamsburg, VA 23188.
