Christine Peterson

Christine Peterson, a devoted wife, beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 9, 2025. She was born on January 31, 1972, the cherished daughter of Nancy and the late Donald Fougere, at Mercy Hospital in Mineola, New York. 

Christine was raised in Merrick, New York, and graduated from Calhoun High School. She went on to work at NatWest Bank in the fraud department, where her diligence, integrity, and dedication earned her respect and admiration.

Christine had a creative soul and found joy in expressing herself through painting and crafts. Whether working on a new art project or sharing her talents with those she loved, she brought warmth, and kindness into every space she entered.

She was preceded in death by her stepfather Robert Clark, and uncle Richard Brauchler. 

Christine is survived by her loving husband Robert Peterson; devoted mother, Nancy Clark; brothers, Donald Fougere and Scott Clark; sisters-in-law, Aleeson Fougere and Robyn Clark;  cherished nephews, Cameron Fougere and Daniel Clark; and her memory will also live on in the hearts of extended family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Christine will be remembered for her gentle nature, generous heart, and the quiet strength with which she faced life’s challenges. Her legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire all who knew her.

All services will take place in New York, with burial in Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.
