Cliflette Michelle Edwards

Cliflette Michelle Edwards, affectionally known as “Chelle,” was born on July 22, 1967.  She was called to her eternal home on March 20, 2022, surrounded by her family.  Michelle was preceded in death by her parents, Clifton and Mary Edwards.

Michelle graduated from John Yeatts High School, Suffolk, VA, in 1985.  She was a loving sister, aunt, and friend to many.  She was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, enjoyed spending time with her family, and had a smile that would light up any room she entered.

Michelle leaves to cherish her precious memories with her aunt, Blanche Royster; siblings, Rita Howard, Felicia Layne, Mildred Wilson (Al), Patricia Johnson (Corey), Lycurkus Eley, Alexis Eley, Benjamin Battle Sr., and Clinton Edwards; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 26, 2022, at Whiting’s Funeral Home.  Live stream will be available at the beginning of the services.  Facial coverings are required.
