Cornelius Clement Colbert, Jr

Cornelius "Neal" Colbert, Jr., of Williamsburg, VA, formerly of Newport News, VA, and Washington, D.C., passed away on May 30, 2026.

After thirty-four years of service, Neal retired from DC Public Schools and later worked at Christopher Newport University for ten years, until his health declined in 2026.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 5, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at St. John Baptist Church.
