Donald E. Warden II

Donald E. Warden II of Williamsburg passed away on Friday, July 22, 2022, at the age of 69. Don fought a fifteen-year battle with strokes and heart disease. He achieved his final wish of outliving his beloved mother by eighteen days, fulfilling his promise she would not have to bury her son.

Donald avidly loved good food, travel, and all things Native American. His kind and gentle soul shall be missed by all that knew him. 

Don is predeceased by both his parents Donald and Avoline Warden. He is survived by his siblings and their spouses: Diana and Steve Simon, Dale and Jo Ann Warden, and Deanette and Burlyn Rogers; nieces, Devan Warden and Rachel Rogers; nephews Jacob Rogers and Alan Warden and his wife Alexandra and their son Porter.

Don will be laid to rest at Williamsburg Unitarian Universalist Church on Friday, August 5, 2022, at 5:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the church, Sanctuary on the Trail, Inc., or the American Stroke Association.
