Edward Christian

Edward Christian passed peacefully from this life on November 7, 2024, in Yorktown VA. He was born to Isaac and Esther Christian on January 16, 1958.

At a young age, Edward accepted the Lord in his heart and was baptized. Edward was educated in the York County Public School System.

Edward was very outspoken and loved his family. He was a proud fan of the Dallas Cowboys. If you knew Edward, you knew he loved to cook and thought of himself as a Master chef!

He is preceded in death by his father Isaac Christian; sister Gloria; and brother Ralph.

Edward leaves to cherish his memories with his son D'Andre Edward Pryor; loving mother Esther; sisters, Barbara Jean, Debra, Carolyn, and Marylan; life partner Patreena; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.  

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Whiting's Funeral Home.
