Ernest Lamont Faulcon, lovingly known as “Nuk”, passed away on September 4, 2025, at the age of forty-six.
He was born in Williamsburg and raised in Yorktown, Virginia, graduating from Yorktown High School before settling back in Williamsburg. He built a career he truly loved as a financial operations specialist at Chesapeake Bank’s Tech Center, where he was known for his dedication and warm spirit.
A devoted husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend, Ernest’s greatest joy was his family. He cheered passionately for his favorite football team, the San Francisco 49ers. He was a foodie that loved creating memories through food-especially baking cakes and cupcakes for his daughters’ birthdays. His laughter, kindness and gentle heart touched all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Ernest is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Martha and John “J.D.” Faulcon and paternal grandparents, Frank and Lelia Mae Johnson.
Ernest is survived by his loving wife, Kim; daughters, Sofia, Olivia, Alexis, and Brianna; son Tayvion; parents, Ernest and Cassandra Johnson; sister Melinda Johnson; nephew Malakhai Johnson; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
He will be remembered for his humor, his big heart, and the joy he brought to others. His legacy of love and laughter will live on in the lives of those he cherished most.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at Whiting’s Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Williamsburg Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the GoFundMe set up for Ernest’s wife, Kim Faulcon and their two young daughters to support them during this difficult time at https://gofund.me/bc86db8a0.
