Fred D. Moore Sr.

With great love and respect, we announce the peaceful transition of Fred D. Moore Sr. to eternal life on November 6, 2024. Fred was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great-grandfather, and his legacy will continue to live on through his family.

Fred is survived by his beloved wife Ann Moore; children, Fred Moore Jr., Terry Moore Sr. (Scharlie), Gary Moore Sr. (Geraline), Phyllis Thompson (Ellis), Sandra Wallace (Richard Jr.), and Lisa Ingram (Vashon). He was also a proud grandfather of seventeen, great-grandfather of fifty-three, and great-great-grandfather of thirteen.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Moses and Mayedia Moore; sister Virginia Taylor; son CW2 Dwayne Moore; granddaughter Joy Kendrick; and great-grandson Domonique Moore Jr.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 15, 2024, at Zion Baptist Church in Williamsburg, VA. Interment to follow in Williamsburg Memorial Park. Mr. Moore may be viewed beginning at 10:00 a.m. until the hour of his service in the church.
