On Tuesday, December 3, 2024, Jermaine Teaonne Tabb peacefully entered eternal rest. Jermaine was born on May 21, 1984, to Christine Tabb and Jimmy Bowers.
Jermaine was educated in the York County School District, graduating from York High School in 2002.
Jermaine enjoyed being around family and friends. He especially loved holiday dinners at his aunt Maxine's house, where he would eat good and sleep good too. He was always ready for a friendly card game but was definitely tight with a dollar.
At an early age, Jermaine accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior. He attended Shiloh Baptist Church as much as he could. If you knew him. you know he listened to his gospel music all the time. One of his favorite songs was "Change Me" by Tamela Mann. He is nicknamed "The Preacher" because he often encouraged those around him to get right with the Lord. He would always say "If god comes l'm ready." Jermaine was a laid back fun-loving person who will be missed.
Jermaine is preceded in death by his grandmothers, Naomi Tabb and Maggie Bowers; grandfathers, Carrol Tabb and Hebron Dickens; uncles, Donald, Ronald, and Don; and aunt Deborah Dickens. He leaves to cherish his loving memories his mother Christine Tabb; father Jimmy Bowers (Hope); sisters, Fredricia (Shondell), Tieronee, and Kisha; brothers, Antoine (Toyka), Anthony (Tessa), Jeremy (Toylonda), Jimmy Jr. (Kayla), Jaden, Tavon, and Darius; aunts, Jacqueline and Maxine; uncles, Nathaniel and Steven; favorite nephew Zachariah; godsister Alanna Chisman; special friends, Dominique and Jazmonte; and a host of cousins, extended family, and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 12, 2024, at Whiting's Funeral Home. Mr. Tabb may be viewed on Thursday beginning at Noon in the funeral home.
