On Saturday evening April 11, 2020, God called home our beloved John “Tom” Meekins home to eternal rest, in Riverside Doctors’ Hospital, Williamsburg, Virginia. His life began on January 4, 1958, son of the late Alice Lee Jones and Robert Meekins. He was also preceded by his sisters, Joyce Meekins, Rosemary Meekins, Eliza Meekins, Anita Meekins, and Ethel Meekins, brothers, Richard Meekins and Wardell Meekins.

His loving memories will forever remain in the hearts of his sisters, Abbie Meekins and Sarah Meekins; a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives, and friends.

All services for Mr. Meekins were private.
