Jordan Mikhail Pressey transitioned from this life peacefully, surrounded by family, on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at CHKD Children’s Hospital. Jordan was born on Saturday, May 20, 2006, in Williamsburg, Virginia, to Chaz Epps and Kimberly Pressey.
He graduated with the Class of 2025 from Lafayette High School, where he could often be found cheering on the football team.
Jordan had a deep love for art, playing video games, and expressing himself creatively. He was a proud fan of the Washington Commanders. Jordan loved good food and loved having company. One of his favorite pastimes was calling his great-aunts to bring food to him and his brother Jayden.
Jordan’s infectious smile could light up a room, even on his hardest days. He had a bubbly personality and a warm spirit, with a way of making people feel seen and welcomed. Anyone who met him quickly fell in love with his gentle heart.
In his youth, Jordan attended the Muscular Dystrophy Camp, where he made lasting memories and friendships. Family meant everything to him, and he treasured every moment he spent with his loved ones.
Jordan’s legacy will live on through the love he gave, the joy he shared, and the memories he created. He will forever be remembered as a bright light, a fighter, and a beautiful soul who touched countless lives.
Jordan was preceded in death by his aunt, Tajae Epps, and his uncle, Kelvin Pressey Jr.
Jordan’s memory will live on through his parents, Chaz Epps and Kimberly Pressey; his sisters, Lanajae Williams, Nikkea Maybry, and Nyla Maybry; his brothers, Jayden Pressey-Epps and Brandon Butler; his beloved grandparents, Kelvin and Sylvia Pressey, Katherine Burns, Eugene Epps, and Byron Smith; along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and friends.
Jordan’s presence on this earth was a gift, and his absence will be deeply felt. Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort knowing that his pain has ended and his spirit is at peace. His love, laughter, and light will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
A service to celebrate Jordan's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 19, 2026, at Bethel Restoration Center. Interment to follow at Williamsburg Memorial Park. Mr. Pressey may be viewed from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
