Lillie Mae Wilder was born on May 2, 1934, to the union of Milton and Sadie Cousar Kennedy. She peacefully transitioned from this earthly life on Friday, July 3, 2020.
After marrying the late Percy Clinton Wilder Jr., the couple moved their family from South Carolina to Virginia. She worked several years in the healthcare industry retiring from the Pine Convalescent Center, now known as Envoy of Williamsburg.
Her fond memories will forever live in the hearts of her daughters, Carlene Parrott and Fannie Boyd; three grandchildren, Gardner Boyd Jr., Monica Parrott, and Corey Parrott; four great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; sister, Annette Dukes; sister-in-law, Carolyn Wilder; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 13, 2020, at Whiting’s Chapel. Due to the current health pandemic, only 50 attendees will be allowed and face coverings are required.
