Lorenzo Jackson Sr.

Lorenzo Jackson Sr was born in Whitaker Memorial Hospital on August 21, 1948, to Clinton L Jackson Sr and Marion Wallace Jackson. He passed away at home on February 4, 2026, at the age of 77. 

He was a lifelong resident of Williamsburg, VA. He worked various jobs, including Magruder Elementary School, and retired from the transportation services department at the College of William & Mary. He will be fondly remembered for his provision and protection of his family, humor, and fascination with automobiles. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clinton L Jackson Sr and Marion Wallace Jackson; his former wife, Ernestine Brown Jackson; his siblings, Mary Jackson, Ella Jackson, Sara Wallace, Clementine Jackson, William Jackson, Calvin Jackson, and Clinton Lee Jackson Jr.; and fiancée Lena Jefferson. 

He leaves to treasure his memories his sisters, Frances Parker and Stella Hill; his children, Kevin Jackson (Linda), Lorenzo Jackson Jr., and Chrissy Jackson; his grandchildren, Darius Jackson, Alexia Jackson, Deja Jackson (Vinayak), Lorenzo Jackson III, and Amadea Barnes; and a host of other loving relatives and many caring friends. 

A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 21, 2026, at Whiting’s Funeral Home.
