Nealee Virginia "Naan" Roberts

On Friday, March 11, 2022, God dispatched his angels to bring our beloved Nealee Virginia Roberts home for eternal rest in Him. Nealee has been reunited with her parents, brothers, sisters, and son-in-law. “Naan,” as she was affectionately called, was born on May 27, 1930, to the late Martha and Wille Roberts.

Nealee was a full-time mother and babysitter in James City County, which she loved to do. She enjoyed spending time with her family and close friends. She always had a smile on her face.

Nealee leaves behind her children, Louise Roberts, Lloyd Roberts, and Mary Walker; grandchildren, Don Walker, Gary Walker, Edwin Walker, and Tracey Walker; great-grandchildren, Jasmine, Giovanni, Isaac, Jeremiah, Mya, K’mari, Tanasia, Genesis, and Kinzley; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

A service to celebrate Nealee’s life will be held at 12:00 noon Monday, March 21, 2022, in Whiting’s Funeral Home.  Livestream will be available at the beginning of the service. Ms. Roberts may be viewed beginning at 10:00 a.m. until the hour of her service on Monday.  Facial coverings are required for all services.
