O'Bryan Cecil Braxton

On Wednesday, September 17, 2025, our beloved O’Bryan Cecil Braxton, peacefully passed away in his sleep.  His life began on June 2, 1979, the son of Doris Braxton and Cecil Marrow.

O'Bryan loved to read and watch the History and Discovery channels. Playing cards and chess were his go-to things. O'Bryan loved being around his family and always called to check on them. He has left a void that can not be filled.

“OB or Piccalo,” as he was affectionately called, leaves precious memories to be cherished with his loving and devoted grandmother Blanch Lee Braxton Wallace; loving mother Doris Braxton; father Cecil Marrow (Stella); brothers, Lorenzo Braxton Sr, Lawrence Mason, Ricky Mason, Marcell Mason, and Cecil Hill; his sweet sisters, America Braxton, Katina Marrow, Ava Marrow-Norzil (Gerald), and Tonya Mason; nieces, DeQuisha Braxton and his special-niece Nunya Braxton; nephew Lorenzo Braxton Jr.; special devoted aunt Wednesday Belcher (Chris); aunts, Nicole Swinton (Lonnie Sr.) and Queen Esther Marrow; special cuz/auntie Ethel Braxton; uncles, James Graves Jr. (Sharon), Donald Graves (Marlene), John Hundley (Melody), and his devoted uncle Toney Lee Sr.; special lil-cousins, Divine and Zo'Ryan; special cousins, Ciera Ransome, De'Andre Lee, D'Anthony Lee, Alexander Braxton, Aeren Lee, and William Braxton III; bestfriend/bro Ernest Graves; special friend Ja'Quan Johnson; stepdaughter Amaris Wallace; and a host of other loving family members and friends.  

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 26, 2025, at Bethel Restoration Center, with a viewing beginning at Noon.
