Patsy L. Banks entered the Master’s arms on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at her home. She was born on March 8, 1940, to the late James “Matt” and Annie Alease Roberts of Williamsburg, VA.
At an early age, she was baptized and joined Little Zion Baptist Church in Williamsburg, VA. After moving to Newport News she became a member of True Vine Baptist Church. She was employed at the Williamsburg Community Hospital as an assistant supervisor in the housekeeping department and later retired from Anheuser-Busch in Williamsburg, as a lab technician.
She was married to the late James E. Vaden Sr. and from this union one son was born James E. Vaden Jr. who was the apple of her eye. She later was married to the late Charles E. Banks Sr. for forty-two years.
Patsy leaves to cherish her beautiful memories, her son James E. Vaden Jr. (Frances); brother Richard Roberts (Yolanda); and a host of nieces, cousins, other loving relatives, and friends.
