Quinton C. Brown

Quinton C. Brown entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, April 27, 2022.  He was born on April 13, 1952, to the late Viola B. Brown and Thomas E. Tucker.

He was raised in the Williamsburg area and was educated in the Williamsburg-James City County Public Schools.

Quinton was a faithful member of New Zion Baptist Church, where he served on the Harvest Seed Team and Usher Board.  He currently held the position of Vice President of the Missionary Ministry.  Wherever a helping hand was needed, Quinton volunteered cheerfully.

Quinton was a skilled licensed contractor and owner of Quinton’s Contracting.  He was also very active in the Forest Glen and Centerville communities.

Quinton was preceded in death by his mother, Viola B. Brown, father, Thomas E. Tucker, sister, Melissa V. Brown, nephews, Latroy Brown and Marvin Marsh, and stepson, Eddie L. Campbell.

Quinton leaves to cherish his memories his beautiful wife of twenty-eight years, Olivia; special granddaughter, Olivia Mcilwain; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; four stepchildren, Willie W. Campbell, Jr., Gloria D. Pressey, Reginald R. Campbell (Rebecca), and Donald F. Campbell (Tascha); sisters, Ellen B. Marsh (Herbert), Glenice B. Lawson, Roselind B. Richardson, Qulbie M. Brown, and Renata B. Roane (Raymond); brothers, Conrad A. Brown and Meddle S. Brown; two aunts, Audrey C. Brown and Alberta Brown; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and friends.

A funeral service will be held at noon Friday, May 6, 2022, at Bethel Restoration Center with Dr. Robert A. Whitehead Sr., officiating.  Livestream will be available at the beginning of the services.  Mr. Brown may be viewed on Friday, beginning at 10:00 a.m. until the hour of his service in the church.  Facial coverings are required for all services.
