On Friday, June 12, 2020, at Grady Memorial Hospital, God called home his beloved child, Randy Leon Dickerson, Jr. Randy was born on January 2, 1992, to the union of Randy and Verna Dickerson. He was the second of three children born to this union.
Randy, also known as “Junior”, attended Dekalb Public Schools where he graduated from Martin Luther King High in 2010. At the time of his death, he was employed by Amazon. Randy “Junior” was a quiet and humble young man who loved riding his Kawasaki ZZR 600 motorcycle.
As a child, he grew up in his family church, Little Zion Baptist Church, Williamsburg, Virginia, before moving to Georgia where he attended Trinity Worship Center. He was active in the youth, audio and sports ministries.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Deacon Charles and Deaconess Catherine Dickerson, and maternal grandmother, Ruby Scott
Left to cherish his fond memories is his daughter, JaLia Leona Ingrid Dickerson; parents, Randy and Verna “Patsy” Dickerson; sister, LaTrice Dickerson; brother, Shaun Dickerson; nephew, Gregory Cirius; niece, Soley Cirius; best friend, Ayrika Whitlow; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
