Richard T.N. Bell Jr.

Richard Tony Naszell Bell Jr. was born on September 27, 1999, in Newport News, Virginia.  He entered into eternal rest on Saturday, October 8, 2022.

Richard was a Class of 2017 graduate of Denbigh High School and was currently employed by Subway.  He co-founded Love Hurts with his best friend Elwyn.

Richard loved his family and friends unconditionally.  He was well-loved by everyone and was a caring son and brother.  He was always calm, collected, and smiling.   You could always find him listening to music, playing games, and spending time with his family, all of which he loved to do. He was always throwing something together in the kitchen, thinking that he could cook.  He was definitely a Momma's Boy.

Richard was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Doris Cuff; grandparents, Pearl Bell and Bronson Bell; and cousin, Keon Cuff.  Left to cherish Richard's memories are his mother, Lakisha McIntyre, and father, Richard Bell Sr. (Dyshanda); sisters, Jakila McIntyre (Johnathon) and Ashanti Loewen (Chaz); brothers, Ky-Mani & Terrance; nephews, Aiden, Landon, Chaz Jr., and Maddox; grandparents, Dorethea Jones (Jerald), William McIntyre, Richard Spence, and Grace Thompson; aunts, Tracey Driggind (Charles), Jacqueline Cuff Ward (Tyree), Iskisha Griffin (Ameer), Kizzy McIntyre (Milton), Tanesha Stewart, Rosie Stewart, Tiffany Reid, Sharon, Carol, and Phyllis; uncles, Karl Kaprice Cuff (Lily), Shawn Cuff, Terrance Cuff, James Chapel, Randy Bell (Janette), Ricky Bell, Maxwell, Chris, Alexander, Lavar, and Daniel; best friend, Elwyn Nichols; special friend, Danielle; his forever cousins/brothers, Shaquille, Sharrod, Jaeden, and Keon; and a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 15, 2022, at Zion Baptist Church, Newport News.  Livestream will be available at the beginning of the service.  Interment to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.  Mr. Bell may be viewed in the church beginning at 9:00 a.m. until the hour of his service on Saturday.
