Rita Moore

On Tues, June 16, 2026, our butterfly Queen Rita Moore went home to be with the Lord.  She was born in North Caroline, but raised here in Williamsburg, Virginia

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary C. and Floyd Moore Sr., of North Carolina; and sisters, Audrey Parrott and Kathy Moore, both of Williamsburg, Virginia.

She leaves to cherish blessed memories of her daughter Giresha "Gigi" Gray; her grandchildren, Johnisha Gray (Tanesha) and Josiah Gray (Ellie); her great-grands, Sophia, Nori, Nickolas, and Sunny; her sister, Claudia McClenny of North Carolina; her brothers, Floyd Moore Jr. of North Carolina and Michael Moore of Williamsburg; bonus girls, Kristi, Tiffany, and Chanelle; bonus boy Bryant; special caregiver Tonya White; and a host of other loving relatives and caring friends.

A memorial Celebration of Life service will be held at Noon on Friday, June 26, 2026, at Bethel Restoration Center.
