Robyn Sharron Ashby

On Tuesday, March 31, 2020, Robyn went to sleep and woke up in Glory! Robyn Sharron Ashby was born on May 11, 1968, to Sara Linda and the late Quinton M. Jimmerson, of Williamsburg, Virginia.

Robyn was a graduate of Lafayette High School, Class of 1986.  She furthered her studies by receiving an Associate in Applied Mathematics from Thomas Nelson Community College.  Robyn worked as the General Manager of Reservations for the Colonial Williamsburg Hotel Properties for over twenty-five years.  Most recently she worked as a Customer Service Agent with the Williamsburg Area Transit Authority (WATA); a job that she truly loved.

Robyn is survived by her loving mother, Sara Linda Howard; brother, Chad Podish (Serena) of Fort Benning, Georgia; sisters, Dr. Sherri Ashby, Tara Green (Frederick), and Minister Nina Jimmerson, all of Williamsburg, Virginia, Turron Jones (Kelvin) of Newport News, VA, Mary Howard of Georgia and Patrice M. Roane of Richmond, Virginia; Goddaughter, Nija Wilson; thirteen nieces and nephews; four great-nieces and great-nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 6, 2020, at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.  Facebook Live Stream will be available for the service; please click the link below. Due to the current health pandemic, if you plan on attending you must stay in your cars.  In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in honor of Robyn S.
