Rudolph Lloyd Gordon, affectionately known as “Ruddy,” peacefully transitioned to eternal rest on Thursday, November 16, 2023, with his family by his side. His life began on November 4, 1933, son of the late Albert and Ethlyn Gordon, in Jamaica.
At an early age, he wanted to serve and make a difference. He pursued a career in education as a teacher. Rudolph is survived by his daughter, Charmaine; granddaughter, Kamilah; stepson, Wayne; three sisters, Ena, Clair, and Naomi; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Special thanks to the Williamsburg Landing Day Center, Peninsula Agency for the Aged, Riverside Hospice, Riverside Doctors’ Hospital staff, Project Life Saver, and everyone who took part in making his final days enjoyable and safe.
