Theresa Ann Parker, affectionately known to her family and friends as "Ann," peacefully departed this life surrounded by her loving family on July 20, 2026, in Williamsburg, Virginia, at the age of 78.
Ann was born on April 27, 1948, to the late James Randall Jr. and Margaret Lewis Randall in Williamsburg, Virginia, and was the oldest of their four children. She held a strong, lifelong faith in God, becoming a member of First Baptist Church as a young woman. Over the years, she faithfully served in the choir, participated in Bible study, and worked in the church administration office.
A proud 1966 graduate of Bruton Heights School, Ann chose to remain in the Williamsburg area to raise her family. She dedicated much of her career to customer service, retiring after years of dedicated work at Kmart, Food Lion, and the William & Mary Bookstore, all while creating a warm, loving home for her husband and three sons. Ann was known for her big heart, a wonderful sense of humor shared with those close to her, and her role as the cherished matriarch of her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her younger brother, Donald Randall. Ann leaves behind her loving husband of fifty-five years, Bennie “BoBo” Parker Jr.; her three children, Phillip Parker (Angel), Bennie Parker III, and Timothy Parker (Nicole); and her seven beloved grandchildren, Immani, Sydney, Kenya, Amari, Alexia, Akira, and Angel; two brothers, James (Jackie) and Marvin (Brenda): along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who mourn her passing.
While we mourn the loss of a devoted wife, mother, and cherished friend, we also celebrate a life well-lived. Ann leaves behind a legacy of faith, laughter, and enduring love that will live on in our hearts forever.
A service to celebrate Ann's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. at The Historic First Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Hampton Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Parker may be viewed on Friday in the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
