Thomas Lee Taylor

Thomas Taylor entered into eternal rest on October 9, 2024, in Williamsburg, VA. He was born on July 9, 1935, to Christine Hundley and  William Henry " Billy" Taylor of York County, Virginia.

 At an early age, he accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior and became a member of St. John Baptist Church.  Thomas attended the James City County Training School. He was a cook with the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation for several years and finished his career as an executive chef at the Ramada Inn 1776 in Williamsburg.  Thomas truly enjoyed cooking, spending time with family, and watching football. His favorite football team was the Dallas Cowboys. 

Thomas is survived by his daughter Vickie Tyler (Rex); devoted friend and caregiver Sherrie White; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other loving relatives, and friends.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at Whiting's Funeral Home.
