Tony Alvin Martin

Tony Alvin Martin, 69, passed away on September 23, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on December 16, 1957, in Williamsburg, Virginia to the late Charlie and Emily Martin. He is also predeceased by his brother, Troy D. Martin.

Tony devoted 32 years of dedicated service to the City of Williamsburg as a Maintenance Technician. Even after retirement, his strong work ethic led him to continue working for another five years at Casey Toyota.

Left to mourn his passing are his sisters, Joan Madison (Michael) of Harvest, AL, and Angela Taylor (Lloyd) of Hampton, VA; brothers, Ervin M. Martin (Peggy) of Great Falls, MT, Anthony Martin (Patricia) of Yorktown, VA; his special life partner, Delia Gutierrez and her daughter Jethadel Wine; and his children, TJ Martin, Jeffrey Martin, Tona Jones, Lionel Martin, Coco Martin and David Martin. 

The family would also like to thank his caregivers for their love and support.

A memorial service will be held to celebrate Tony's life at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Whiting's Funeral Home.
