Ty'Teonia D. Harris

Ty’Teonia D. Harris was born on December 18, 1994, daughter of Jonathan Harris Sr. and the late Sherlynn Celeste Brooks, of Williamsburg, Virginia.

A lifelong resident of Williamsburg, Ty’Teonia was educated in the Williamsburg-James City County Public School System; graduating from Lafayette High School.  She was employed as a Security Officer with Allied Services and as a manager at Burger King.

Ty’Teonia was a proud mother, daughter, and sister, who loved spending time with her family and friends.  She also loved to shop and crochet. 

On Tuesday evening, October 6, 2020, angels were dispatched to earth on a mission.  The mission was to grant eternal rest to our beloved Ty’Teonia.  Although time will start to heal our pain, we will forever miss you and you will never be forgotten.

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Shirley Brooks. Her memories will forever be cherished by her children, Gabriel and Caleb Winters; father, Jonathan Harris Sr.; sister, Joniece L. Harris; brothers, Damien Burrell and Jonathan Harris Jr.; maternal grandfather, Carlton Brooks; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

A viewing will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 15, 2020, at Whiting’s Funeral Home.
