Vincent Scott Jones Sr. entered into eternal rest on June 28, 2024. He was born on January 29, 1965, to the late Ernestine and Harold Jones in Matthews, Virginia.
At the age of 18, Vincent moved to Georgia with his sister. During his time in Georgia, Vincent learned how to build trains. Upon returning to Virginia, he was employed with several companies to include; Tom Hearn Auto Service, The Williamsburg Hospitality House, and his favorite Tri-Cities Beverage Corp.
Vincent was the most kindhearted person you could ever meet. He will truly be missed by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his sisters, Audrey Simmons and Dale O’Neal.
Vincent leaves to cherish fond memories, his three children, Vincent Jones Jr., Crystal Edlow, and Ty’Shwan Edlow; three grandchildren, Rai’Qwan Edlow, A’Jziya Edlow, and Amani Edlow; three sisters, Amelia Diggs, Elaine Fears, and Jeannie Stancell (Darrell); and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 6, 2024, in Whiting's Funeral Home. Mr. Jones may be viewed on Saturday beginning at Noon until the hour of his service in the chapel.
