Wendell Carroll Tabb answered the Master’s call and to meet his Creator on Saturday, May 14, 2022. His life began on December 20, 1963. He leaves to cherish his precious memories, parents James and Maurice Tabb; brother, James Lorenzo Tabb; sister, Anita Sharmaine Tabb; aunts, Shirley Wynn (Conway) of Williamsburg, VA and Brenda Thomas of Daytona Beach, FL; uncle, Edmond Braxton; special friend, Angel Bond; eight nieces, five nephews, a host of cousins, and friends
At an early age, he confessed Christ as his personal Savior and joined hands in fellowship with Shiloh Baptist Church, Croaker, VA. Later in life he joined Victory Life Church, Hampton, VA. He was a long time employee at Planters Peanuts and Hormel in Suffolk, VA, Coke-Cola in Sandston, VA, and Pepsi Cola in Newport News, VA.
If you knew Wendell, you knew he was a man of God and loved to pray and pray for others. He was an instrument used by God to minister and win souls to Christ. If you ever sat down with Wendell for a conversation, you would get more than a conversation. He loved football and was a die-hard Atlanta Falcon fan. In his spare time, he loved spending time with his mom, dad, brother, and sister. He was a very private person but loved having fun.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 20, 2022, at Bethel Restoration Center. Livestream will be available at the beginning of the service. Interment to follow in Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Tabb may be viewed beginning at 11:00 a.m. Friday in the church. Facial coverings are required.
