Yolanda Faith Johnson

Yolanda Faith Johnson went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 11, 2022. She was born to Carla R King-Johnson and Eric V Johnson on April 7, 1994, in Williamsburg, Va. 

Yolanda was a loving, caring, and compassionate person with the most beautiful soul. To our delight, she was blessed with the gift of cooking, creating new recipes, and enhancing others. She believed in God’s everlasting love and mercy.  You are in God’s arms. We will always love you and we are grateful to have had you in our lives on this earth.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Mary L. Johnson-Green and Eric L Johnson.  Yolanda will remain in the hearts of her sisters, April Johnson (who was her very best friend and confidant), Saprina Johnson, Erica Johnson, and Jessica Johnson; maternal grandparents, Clyde and Redell King; aunts, Karen King-Kornegay (Robert), Katherine Green, Kharyn Green, and Patricia Patrick; uncles, Marshall Davenport and Harold Green; cousin and best friend, Robert C Kornegay; as well as a host of other loving relatives and friends.

A service to celebrate her life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 24, 2022, at Whiting's Funeral Home.  Livestream will be available at the beginning of the service. Interment to follow in St. John Baptist Church Cemetery. Ms. Johnson may be viewed in the funeral home on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of her service. Facial coverings are required for all services.
